Wilbur L. Danley, Jr., 83, of Wildwood FL, formerly of Manasquan, NJ, was called home on July 31, 2023. Wilbur was born May 24th, 1940, to the late Wilbur and Leona Darnley Sr. Wilbur was a loving husband, brother, and father.
Wilbur was educated at Manasquan High School, and durning high school he became a member Manasquan Engine Co # 2. After graduation Wilbur enlisted into the Army National Guard. He later met his love, Gail Flanagan, and they were married. They moved to West Palm Beach, and Wilbur joined Yesteryear Village Fire Dept. where he became Fire chief.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Gail Danley. Wilbur is survived by his sister Leona Bartlett, (New Jersey) brother Laffyette Danley, (New Jersey) daughter Debra Danley (Florida) son Lafe Danley (New Jersey) granddaughter Amber Wallace (Drew) (Florida), as well as his great grandchildren, several nieces ,nephews, and other loving family members.
