With the arrival of summer, the City of Asbury Park is springing back to life. The City by the Sea offers a wide range of activities for beach-goers and amusement seekers of all ages, both on and off the beach. The boardwalks are bustling with activity, grills sizzle with anticipation and the sound of music fills the air. Asbury Park Boardwalk has a fantastic lineup of shows awaits music enthusiasts this summer. This summer looks to surpass previous seasons in every way.
MONDAY NIGHT MUSIC SERIES
Get ready for the return of Asbury Park Music Foundation’s Monday Night Music Series at the First Avenue Greenspace. Starting June 26, guests can enjoy free concerts featuring talented local musicians. Plus, attendees can make a difference by donating to provide music camps for underserved youth through Lakehouse Music and Hope Academy. Past donations have helped improve the Hip Hop Institute Recording Studio, launch the Latino Experience Summer Camp, and offer scholarships for the Asbury Park Music Foundation – Songwriters Camp.
The series will feature ten concerts from June 26 to Aug. 29, taking place from 6 to 9 p.m. The incredible lineup includes:

Bonfire nights
Embrace the refreshing New Jersey summer evenings and unwind with loved ones or a special someone by attending a beach bonfire, available from summer through September. You can relish the warmth of a beachside bonfire Friday nights at 7 p.m. in June, Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. in July and August and every Friday at 7 p.m. in September. The bonfires will be held at various beach locations, each week, along the boardwalk. Asbury Eighteen Mini-Golf
Tee off for an exciting adventure at Asbury’s mini-golf course, where enthusiasts of all ages can embrace the challenges of the 18-hole layout. Whether you’re a seasoned mini-golfer or a novice, this course offers a delightful experience for everyone. After a thrilling game, winners can indulge in delectable treats from the numerous fantastic ice cream parlors along the boardwalk. Admission prices for the mini-golf course are $10 for children aged 15 and under, $12 for adults, and $11 for seniors aged 65 and above. Operating hours are Fridays from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Asbury Splash Park
Let the fun begin at this family-friendly destination, where the sandy shores are left behind and water adventures take center stage. The Asbury Splash Park offers a secure and engaging playground surrounded by a protective fence. Kids can frolic amidst whimsical fountains while enjoying the comfort of a padded floor that ensures safe play. Admission to the park is $15 for children aged 15 and under and $7 for adults. This year, the Asbury Splash park will be open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m through Labor Day.
Silverball Museum
The Silverball Museum offers a rotating collection of 600 games, providing visitors with a diverse selection of beloved pinball and video game experiences. The museum welcomes all guests and is available to host parties. Admission options include a one-hour pass for $17.50, half-day passes priced at $20 and all-day passes for $25. Additionally, there is a $5 non-player pass available for those who wish to observe. With the entry pass, all games are set to free play, eliminating the need for coins. Operating hours are from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to midnight on Fridays, and 10 a.m. to midnight on Saturdays. Active military members and veterans with valid IDs can enjoy a 20 percent discount.
