A former candidate for Allegheny County Executive was arrested Saturday during the Grand Jubilee Parade in Pittsburgh.According to the criminal complaint, William Parker was shouting obscenities towards Mayor Ed Gainey during the Juneteenth event. Parker reportedly told police the Mayor ignored his request for a handshake.Pittsburgh Police officers who were with Mayor Gainey said Parker was told several times to back up, but didn’t.Parker was also accused of threatening to elbow Allegheny County Councilwoman Bethany Hallam, who was with the Mayor at the event.No one was hurt.Parker was detained and taken to the Allegheny County Jail.
