John David Jones Jr. 93, of Wall Township passed away on June 1, 2023 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune Township. He was born in Bayonne, NJ, and had resided in Newark, Spring Lake, Brick and Whiting, NJ, before moving to Wall Township. John served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He worked many years at New Jersey Bell Telephone Engineering Department.
John is survived by his daughter Mary Ann Solinski and her husband Robert. He also is survived by his grandchildren Michael Solinski, Jennifer Del Salto and James and Colleen Solinski, along with his great-grandchildren Tyler, Claire and Aiden, Patrick and Kevin.
Private Graveside services will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations to your local First Aid Squad would be appreciated.
