Liberty Environmental Inc. has announced its acquisition of Frey Engineering LLC of Lebanon, N.J. The move is part of Liberty Environmental’s ongoing expansion strategy, which includes increasing its service areas and workforce, and acquiring new technical capabilities.
Frey Engineering, an environmental engineering and consulting firm, has been serving clients in New Jersey and surrounding areas for more than 20 years.
The company’s expertise in the fields of remedial assessment, remedial design, and construction oversight, particularly on large-scale Superfund cleanup projects and landfill closures, will be a valuable addition to Liberty Environmental’s portfolio of services, Liberty Environmental said in a release.
“We are pleased to welcome Frey Engineering to Liberty Environmental,” Jim Cinelli, Liberty Environmental president, said in a statement. “Their expertise in civil and environmental engineering and consulting is a perfect fit with our existing capabilities and will allow us to provide even more comprehensive services to our clients.”
With the acquisition, Liberty Environmental will increase its capability to serve clients in New Jersey and the New York City metropolitan area. The company will also be adding a team of experienced professionals to its staff, including Frey Engineering’s founder and principal, Leo Frey.
