St. Joseph’s University Pedestrian Bridge Construction Continues on U.S. 1 (City Avenue) in Philadelphia, Lower Merion Township
LOWER MERION — PennDOT recently announced that A.P. Construction, Inc. will continue the construction of the St. Joseph’s University pedestrian bridge on U.S. 1 (City Avenue) in Philadelphia and Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
From Monday, April 1, through Monday, April 8, a weekday 24/7 right lane closure is scheduled on northbound U.S. 1 (City Avenue) between 59th Street and Lapsley Lane. If needed by the contractor, work may also take place on Saturday and Sunday.
Monday, April 8, through Monday, April 15, a weekday 24/7 left lane closure is scheduled in both directions on U.S. 1 (City Avenue) between 59th Street and Lapsley Lane. Work may also take place on Saturday and Sunday if the contractor needs it.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.
PECO Utility Improvement Scheduled on U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) in Lower Merion Township
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that PECO Energy will begin utility construction on U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County, beginning Monday, April 1.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
Monday, April 1, through Wednesday, October 30, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a weekday lane closure is scheduled on eastbound U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) between Church Road and Old Wynnewood Road.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
PECO Energy will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
