Attention Philadelphia Flyers fans, if you’re going to tonight’s game against the Tampa Bay Lighting, you may want to get to the Wells Fargo Center a bit early.
The first 10,000 fans to attend tonight’s game will be given a free pair of Gritty earmuffs.
In order to promote the giveaway, Gritty was seen recreating a scene from the 2003 comedy, “Old School”, where Vince Vaughn covers his baby’s ears with his hands whenever ‘colorful language’ is being used.
In the video, Flyers coach John Tortorella is hosting a press conference with Gritty in attendance, and when ‘Torts’ uses “salty language”, one of Gritty’s handlers tells him to put on the earmuffs to shield his innocent ears.
