Clearfield man shot himself in the leg, police said | WTAJ

CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) A Clearfield man is facing charges after he allegedly shot himself in the leg while in his apartment.

Clearfield Regional police were called to Penn Highlands Clearfield for a report of a gunshot victim where they said they found Brandon Hutson with a gunshot wound to his leg. Hutson was said to be aggressive toward nurses and officers and first claimed someone shot him.

It was later discovered that Hutson had shot himself. According to police, a bullet hole was found in the floor of his second-floor apartment, leaving a hole in the ceiling of the apartment below his. Multiple guns were seized from his home.

Police said multiple charges will be filed against Hutson.
