The West Chester Henderson boys’ basketball squad remained in a tie for first place in the Ches-Mont National with a 72-68 squeaker over West Chester East Thursday. Nyle Ralph-Beyer led the way with a game-high 27 points for the Warriors (5-1, 13-2 overall), while Connor Fleet and Nelson Lamizana chipped in with 16 and 15, respectively. Ryan Price (25), Kahseem Bronzell (17 points) and Amari Williams (13) were the top scorers for the Vikings.

West Chester Henderson 48, West Chester East 42 >> The Warriors edged the Vikings in a crosstown rivalry game. Whitney Evans was a dominating force for Henderson with 35 points and six boards. Teammate Jackie Shea added eight points and 13 rebounds. Annalise Kubasko had nine points to pace East.

Eastern 3, Immaculata 0 >> In their season opener, the Mighty Macs were defeated 16-25, 11-25, 16-25. Immaculata was led by Bryce Wiltbank (six kills) and Joe Martell (11 assists).
Men’s Basketball
Yeshiva 99, Immaculata 96 >> The Macs (8-9 overall) fell in a non-league clash at Alumnae Hall. Freshman Dinero Washington (Collegium Charter) poured in 25 points to lead Immaculata. Greg Vlassopoulos added 24 points and Dylan Crews chipped in 15 for the Macs.
