Police are investigating several stabbings Thursday in Hanover, York County, that left three people dead and a fourth injured.
Hanover Borough Police Department responded at 10:18 a.m. where they said they encountered a 27-year-old Hanover man outside a residence with severe injuries.
Police said the man, who was taken to a hospital for treatment, indicated other family members were inside the house. Upon entering the house, police said they found a 17-year-old juvenile and a 49-year-old woman, both Hanover residents who were deceased.
Police also found a 50-year-old Hanover man lying in the street with severe injuries. He was taken to the hospital, but police said he later died from injuries.
An investigation is underway, police said. No one has been identified.
Hanover Police were assisted by the York County Sheriff’s Department, York County Forensics Team, York County Coroner’s Office and Hanover Area Fire and Rescue EMS.
Anyone with information or camera surveillance from the 900 block of East Walnut Street and Broadway, and the 500 block of Witmer Avenue is asked to call police at 717-637-5575 or submit a tip through the Crimewatch App.
