(TINTON FALLS, NJ) — The Mercury Brothers will celebrate the release of their new single, “The Fight” on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Twin Lights Brewing in Tinton Falls. The brewery will be making a limited edition Mercury Brothers beer and the band will use the show to help raise funds and items for The Project Matters. Joining them on the bill is Olivia Bec.
The Asbury Park based band will be collecting items like hats, gloves, socks, and scarves for those in need.
“Lately we’ve been rethinking the way we approach shows. When we started organizing this upcoming show at Twin Lights, we wanted it to be a community event, neighbors supporting neighbors,” explained Michael Mazza from The Mercury Brothers. “The Project Matters plays an integral role in our musical community, providing artists with a variety of assistance including financial, business, technical, legal, educational and emotional support. Karen High & her team give so much to this community, so we wanted to return the favor. We’ll be collecting funds for TPM, trying to keep the continuum of local support flowing.”
Twin Lights Brewing is located at 4057 Asbury Avenue in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. The single will be officially released on all streaming platforms on January 20, 2024.
The Project Matters was established in the memory and honor of Benjamin High, founder of the band Green Arrows. The foundation believes in the importance of music and how it benefits our society. It endeavors to further the creation of music, with an emphasis on aspiring musicians aged 25 years and younger. The goal is to empower and encourage them to attain their creative potential. Through The Project Matters, these artists will be offered a variety of assistance including, but not limited to, funding, business, technical, legal, educational and/or emotional support.

The vision for Twin Lights Brewing dates back to 2016, when childhood friends Mike Betros and Will Grundmann decided to spend a Saturday afternoon doing something different: Brewing Beer. Both were raised in Middletown Township, and have roots along the Raritan Bay area of the Jersey Shore. They ultimately named their small operation after the Navesink Twin Lights Lighthouse, which currently sits in Highlands and overlooks Sandy Hook State Park.
