The basketball star and veteran councilman wants to succeed sitting Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop.
A former candidate for mayor who has bucked Fulop on key issues, Walker has signaled he will be a citywide player in 2025.
But over the course of the last month, he appears like a bonafied candidate for the top executive job in the sprawling Hudson County city.
