A new coffee shop has replaced local favorite Chompsky’s Cafe, which closed in September. Daily Grounds, owned by Ilias Tsakiris, serves classic cafe staples plus unique items like lavender chai lattes, butterbeer frappes, pickle-fusion breakfast sandwiches, and blue smoothie bowls.

The beloved Pic-A-Lilli Pub sat just a block off the boardwalk on Tennessee Avenue for more than three decades before shuttering late last year. New owners have reopened the former hotspot as King’s Pub, serving beer, craft cocktails, bar bites and seafood dishes.
