Frank ‘John’ Kelly, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at his home in Manasquan.
Born and raised in New York City, John lived in Gillette, NJ, for many years before moving to Manasquan where he resided for the last 23 years.
Mr. Kelly served in the United States Marine Reserves. He was a graduate of Loyola High School and graduated from New York University. As a child, he worked in the produce market for his family business, Henry Kelly and Sons Produce in New York City. After working for his family, John went on to have a long career at Ritter/Sysco Foods Metro Area.
John enjoyed playing tennis and paddle sports. Living by the water, he enjoyed paddling in his blue kayak.
He is predeceased by his sister, Reginia Kelly. Surviving are his many close friends, John Terins and his wife, Jane, Christopher Terins and his wife Amber and their children, Ryan and Jake; Katherine Peck and her husband, Jim and their children, John, Henry, Charlie and George. He also leaves his loving cat, Bo.
