This modern Mexican-fusion eatery in the heart of Collingswood replaces the beloved Tortilla Press, which unexpectedly closed in late May. Paloma features brunch and dinner menus in its Tulum oasis–inspired dining room. The restaurant is BYOB and closed on Mondays.

Gateway Diner, Westville
Just three nights before their final day of operation, the owners of the three-decade-old Gateway Diner announced they were forced to close due to the Route 47 bridge-rebuild project. The Gloucester County structure had sat beside Route 47 for nearly 83 years; it originally opened as Joe’s Diner in 1940. Gateway’s Facebook announcement of the closure sparked over 600 comments of condolences. The diner’s final serving was Sunday at 9 pm.
