Slowly warming next week…
TONIGHT: Scattered Showers, Cool. Lo 48. Winds N 5 mph
SUNDAY: Drier, Breezy. Hi 58. Lo 44.
MONDAY: Stray Shower, Mostly Cloudy. Hi 58. Lo 48.
Lots of rain still across the Midstate as our low pressure system continues to bear down. Lows drop into the upper 40s overnight.
Shower activity will begin to die down overnight tonight and into the early morning hours Sunday. Drier, more outdoor-friendly weather awaits Sunday, although outerwear is recommended. Breezy conditions in the aftermath of the front is the only other downside comfort-wise Sunday. Some more sunshine makes it’s way into the forecast next week as highs slowly climb from the upper 50s Sunday into the mid to upper 60s by next Friday. Lows climb from the mid to upper 40s Sunday night into the 50s once again by Thursday night. We’re watching next weekend for the potential for another low pressure system and cold front, and what would be the third weekend in a row with rain chances. We’ll keep you updated, but currently both long range models have this system rolling through the Midstate. Something to note!
