The Unionville girls’ volleyball team swept Sun Valley 3-0 in Ches-Mont action Wednesday. The scores were 25-15, 25-22, 25-18. Olivia Harper led the way with 42 assists and Brianna Miller chipped in with 15 kills. Vivian Geiger (13 kills) and Ava Brenner (10 kills) also contributed for the Longhorns.

Men’s Soccer
West Chester 3, Shepherd 0 >> The Golden Rams notched a PSAC East shutout to improve to 5-1-1 (8-2-2 overall). Jack Dieffender had two goals in the first half for WCU, and teammate Andrew Markopoulos added the other. West Chester had an 8-2 edge in corners and a 22-5 advantage in shots. Goaltender Daniel Good registered the shutout.
Women’s Soccer
West Chester 3, Shippensburg 0 >> Faith Matter scored a goal off a corner and assisted on another to lift the WCU (7-3-0, 7-3-1 overall) to a victory over the Raiders. Kelli Collins and Alyson Cutter also notched goals for the Rams.
West Chester ended the game with a 15-5 lead in shots, including a 10-5 advantage in shots on goal, to go along with a 7-1 lead in corner kicks. Goalie Grace Keen (Avon Grove) ended her day with five saves.
Field Hockey
Millersville 1, West Chester 0 >> The 10th-ranked Marauders scored a goal in the second quarter and made that stand up while shutting out No.4 WCU in PSAC action.
West Chester (3-2, 8-4 overall) could not muster much offense all day against Millersville (3-3, 9-4).
Volleyball
West Chester 3, Chestnut Hill 0 >> In non-league action, the Rams prevailed 25-20, 25-23, 25-16. Abiah Lane led WCU with 14 kills, Nicole Dimiris added eight blocks and Jamie Byrne chipped in 22 assists.
Neumann 3, Immaculata 0 >> In the Atlantic East Conference opener, the Knights topped the Macs 25-12, 25-8, 25-20. Emily Ettien and Mia Esposito each had three kills for Immaculata (0-1, 12-6).
