Caesars Entertainment has named a new general manager for its Caesars Atlantic City hotel and casino, it announced Friday.
Karen Worman will serve as senior vice president as well as general manager for the resort, which has undergone a $240 million transformation as part of Caesars’ $428 million investment in the Atlantic City market.
In her new role, Worman will oversee operations and administration for Caesars Atlantic City, including all facets of the hotel, casino and its amenities such as Gordon Ramsey Hell’s Kitchen and Nobu restaurants and more.
About Caesars in A.C.
Caesars Entertainment owns and operates three Las Vegas-style resort destinations in the Atlantic City region, Caesars Atlantic City, Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City, and Tropicana Atlantic City.
Worman began her career as an accounting clerk at Harrah’s Atlantic City and rose through a series of roles in the A.C. gaming industry, including regional vice president of finance for Tropicana, Harrah’s Resort and Caesars, as well as operations controller and assistant general manager roles.
She will report to John Koster, regional president for Caesars Entertainment’s Eastern Division.
“Karen’s experience and successful track record working with our Atlantic City team members and stakeholders are invaluable,” Koster said in a prepared statement. “Atlantic City is a critical market for us, and this news comes at an incredibly exciting time as we complete our stunning $240 million resort transformation and prepare to open Nobu Hotel.
“We take great pride in having leaders like Karen who strive to create extraordinary experiences for our guests, the community we serve and our team members.”
