Deadly shooting at Independence Hall

A 29-year-old man is dead after someone shot him at a busy tourist destination in Old City. Philadelphia police say the shooting happened around 9a.m. on Saturday night near Independence Hall. Officers drove the victim to Jefferson University Hospital, where he died.

Police say another man drove himself to Pennsylvania Hospital with a gunshot wound to his arm. The investigation is still ongoing, and police have not made any arrests yet.
