FALLENTIMBER, Pa. (WTAJ) – Members of a community in Cambria County rallied together Saturday to help find a missing horse.
Cricket, a horse, took off after being spooked while being unloaded from a trailer Tuesday morning in the area around Uncle Phil’s Country Store in Fallentimber, according to a Facebook post made by Cricket’s owner, Judy Green.
“She is sweet, but she is probably scared! Please do not chase her and scare her even more!” Green wrote in her post.
After searching for days and nights, Green set up a search party for the horse. In total, 47 people responded to the event on Facebook.
Green said many people turned out to search for Cricket, bringing other horses, four wheelers and drones to help.
“It’s overwhelming – the people that are sharing or commenting or showing up. It’s been very, very helpful. Just sharing it has been really helpful,” Green said.
If you see Cricket, she usually approaches if you call her name or have food, according to Green. If you do make contact with Cricket, Green asks that you tie a hoodie, belt or whatever you have available around her neck to prevent her from running off.

Green added that she will continue to search until Cricket is found and is looking to get another search party together if needed.
