HUNTINGDON, Pa. (WTAJ) – Everyone is always welcome at the Emmanuel Bible Church in Huntingdon, regardless of the occasion, and on Sunday, the church had a free Easter breakfast buffet for all members of the community.
In the morning, the church cooked scrambled eggs, pancakes, home fries, sausage links and bacon for people to enjoy. Orange juice and tea were available to drink.
“It’s hard to come to a church if you don’t know anybody. A lot people are bashful that way. We thought to do community outreach and get familiar with the community, let them get familiar with us, so it would be a blessing,” Gregory Harven, Pastor of the Emmanuel Bible Church said.
After breakfast people were welcome to stay for singing and testimonies. There were 130 people in attendance for the Easter service. After it was over, all of the children and teens had fun with a candy toss.

“It’s wonderful the see the reality of the Lord as we celebrate him being alive today. He’s helped this church so many times and I’m so glad to celebrate this day with others,” said Pastor Harven.
