First official day of Spring late on Tuesday…
TODAY: Stray AM Shower, Breezy. Hi 56. Winds W 5-15 mph.
TONIGHT: Cold, Partly Cloudy. Lo 32. Winds W 5-10 mph.
MONDAY: Snow Flurries, Breezy. Hi 45. Lo 30.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Despite the stray shower this morning, the vast majority of the day will be dry. A passing cold front will bring breezier conditions back to the region as highs hit the mid to upper 50s. Certainly the warmest day this week, so take advantage and enjoy!
The cooler air from the front will bring highs into the 40s for the majority of this week. Snow flurries will even be possible throughout the day on Monday! Lows get even cooler, dropping into the upper 20s by Wednesday night. Breezier weather persists early in the week before tapering off. Given that calendar Spring begins late on Tuesday, we’ll be starting off one of the most beautiful times of year with a below average stretch. Our only upcoming rain chance is Friday and Saturday, and there is significant disagreement among our long range models in terms of timing and coverage. We’ll keep you updated!
