A man has been arrested as state police investigate a recent death at a Washington County mobile home park as a homicide.Thirty-four-year-old William Jeremiah Slider, of Washington, is facing several charges, including criminal homicide, aggravated assault, tampering with evidence, and robbery in relation to this case.According to state police, Slider allegedly killed Richard W. Morse, hitting him with a blunt object sometime Wednesday morning. The county coroner says a person found the victim dead inside a home at the Mingo Park Estates in Nottingham Township around 5 p.m. Friday.State police said in a statement that their “hearts and condolences go out to the victim’s family during this difficult time.” Capt. Jeremy Barni said, “There are many moving parts when coordinating a Homicide Investigation, and each entity plays an important role; however, in order to coordinate that it’s like choreography. Especially when blood spatter experts are activated.”Slider has been arraigned and is being held at the Washington County Prison. A preliminary hearing has been set for Mar. 18.
