Pothole opens up in State College disabling vehicles

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (WTAJ) – Drivers in State College experienced some traffic disruption after a pothole opened up on North Atherton Street Saturday afternoon.

The pothole is located in the westbound direction between East College Avenue and Curtin Road, in the rightmost lane of travel.

Alpha Volunteer Fire Company responded to the scene and closed down the lane, but multiple vehicles that had passed over the pothole before the lane was closed were disabled.
