CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Richland Township Volunteer Fire Department received a new piece of equipment that will help them in the future.
According to the department, the technical rescue trailer was donated by Conemaugh Hospital. The trailer houses several key pieces of equipment that will help them in future rescues.
Here’s what the trailer has in it currently:
- Equipment to be used in trench rescue scenarios
- A mobile cutting station for wooden shoring
- A portable air compressor for the use of air tools
- An extendable awning to help teams work out of the weather

The department added that this is only the beginning and they will be adding more equipment in the near future.
