STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (WTAJ) – For the State College and Bald Eagle Area football teams, Thursday night’s practice will be unforgettable. Penn State running back Nick Singleton surprised the teams during a workout at C3 Sports in State College.
“I was definitely a little starstruck,” State College football player Cooper Brushwood said.
“You don’t get to meet a guy like him everyday,” Bald Eagle Area football player Carson Nagle added.
Giving back to football programs and the community is always something that Singleton wanted to do.
“It means a lot giving back to the kids,” the star running back said. “Giving back to them has always been my dream because some people don’t have the same opportunity like I have. So, you want to give back to them and have fun with them.”

Singleton shared laughter and lessons with players and coaches. For the players, it means the world having this moment with a player they idolize.
“I was born here, raised here and we look up to those Penn State guys so having one here was awesome,” Brushwood said.
The appearance was helped made possible by Dunkin’, who is partnered with Singleton and also gave away gift cards, drinks, hats and other goodies.
“They have been a big help this whole time,” Singleton said.
A big help for a practice that provided miles of smiles to many.
