Warming up significantly to start next week…
TONIGHT: Clear Skies, Cold. Lo 32. Winds Light.
MONDAY: Mostly Sunny, Milder. Hi 59. Lo 42.
TUESDAY: Increasing Clouds, Showers Late. Hi 59. Lo 56.
A bright and beautiful Sunday started cold with temperatures in the upper teens and low 20s. However, strong sunshine with blue skies brought highs into the mid-40s. As the winds turn more southerly we should see a bump in temperatures tonight through the first half of the week. Tonight as a result will not be as cold with lows near the low-30s.
Monday features a ton of sunshine and temperatures should respond quickly for Monday afternoon. Highs could peak in the high-50s! We stay mainly cloud free until Monday night. Even with increasing clouds temperatures rise to near 60° for Tuesday afternoon. A few showers are likely by Tuesday night as the next front approaches.
High temperatures should peak in the mid-60s by Wednesday, before a front Thursday puts us back into the 40s. The front appears to be fairly strong, so downpours and a few rumbles of thunder are possible. Though looking like mostly rain, there is some potential for wet snowflakes to fall on the backside. Impacts from any snowfall look to be minimal at this point but we will keep you updated as we continue to get more data and refine the forecast.
