According to color consultant, Wendy Broadhead, trends are shifting right now. Here are some of Wendy’s favorite splashes from the Benjamin Moore product line.
Main wall colors
“Main wall colors are stepping further away from the cool grays and the bright whites. Warmer colors like OC-24 Winds Breath, OC-20 Pale Oak, 1548 Classic Gray, 1549 Balboa Mist are being selected.”

Bedrooms, offices and family rooms
“Slightly deeper shades are being used in spaces like bedrooms, offices and family rooms: AF-100 Pashmina, HC-81 Manchester Tan, HC-80 Bleeker Beige and 984 Stone Hearth.”

Accents, cabinets, and single rooms
“Dark colors are popular as accents, cabinet colors and for single rooms like dining rooms and offices. There are so many lovely, dark, and moody colors that range from blacks and charcoals to navy to green. Some popular colors are CW-680 Mopboard Black, HC-166 Kendall Charcoal, 826 Stunning, and 462 Vintage Vogue.”

Wallpaper
“Wallpaper is extremely popular also. It is being used for accents and for smaller rooms like powder and laundry rooms. Grasscloth and textured wallpaper can really add some interest to a room. Colorful prints will add just the right feel to a room and make it more inviting. Whichever direction you choose for your home, it should be comfortable for you to live in and reflect your own personal style.”
