MECHANICSBURG, P.a. (WHTM) — Mechanicsburg boys hoops has been the leader in the clubhouse in District III 5A as the regular season winds down, and they showed why in a Keystone battle with Lower Dauphin Wednesday night.
The Wildcats established an early lead, using defense into offense to build a double digit cushion before halftime, and expertly dissected Lower Dauphin’s press in the second half to pull away for a 68-38 win. Mechanicsburg and Hershey are tied atop the Mid Penn Keystone standings with just a few games remaining.
