BEDFORD COUNTY, Pa (WTAJ) — Police are investigating a theft in Bedford County after they say four men stole two motorbikes from a business.
Troopers are looking for the men in connection to the theft of two 2024 Kawasaki motorbikes that were reported stolen from Five Star Powersports located along Lincoln Highway in Everett.
Police said a security alarm was tripped on Jan. 24 between 5:30 a.m. to 6:02 a.m. and troopers were notified by a witness that two men wearing dark clothing and masks were seen taking two motorbikes away from the business.
The suspect allegedly loaded up a 2024 green Kawasaki Standard KXR450 and a 2024 Green Kawasaki RX250 Anniversary Edition into a Uhaul truck. Police said the truck then took off west on Route 30.
Troopers said there were four men in total during the burglary as two served as lookouts while the other entered the business and stole the motorbikes.
The estimated cost is in stolen goods is $18,094. Police said there was also damage to an HVAC unit.
