HUNTINGDON, Pa. (WTAJ) — A Huntingdon County duo is behind bars after police said they found drugs in their home that a child could have accessed.
Brittany Dick, 31, and Zackary Miller, 28, of Alexandria, are accused of possessing and using drugs and endangering a child.
Officers with the Huntingdon Borough Police Department, the Attorney General’s Office, the Huntingdon County Drug Task Force and Pennsylvania State Police executed a search warrant Thursday morning at a home along Penn Street in Huntingdon.
When police arrived, Miller was immediately arrested and allegedly admitted to police that he had drug paraphernalia in his pockets. According to the criminal complaint, police searched his pockets and found heroin and a syringe. The heroin bag was stamped “BUGSY”.
While searching Dick, police noted in the complaint they found a baggie of heroin and methamphetamine that police said were packaged for distribution inside her hoodie pocket. Police noted that when they arrived, the infant was sitting directly on top of her hoodie pocket.
Police also mentioned in the affidavit that another woman was at the home with her children and charges are pending.
After Miller and Dick were escorted to the police station, officers began searching the home. According to the police report, they found packing materials, a scale, and numerous syringes and smoking devices. Police noted that some of the syringes were uncapped.
Police also mentioned in the criminal complaint that there was drug paraphernalia next to the child’s baby dolls and clothing.
The duo are both in the Huntingdon County Prison on $100,000 bail respectively.

Dick is facing three felony endangering the welfare of a child charges along with one felony for drug possession with the intent to sell charge. She is also facing misdemeanors for using and possessing drugs.
Miller is facing one felony for endangering the welfare of a child and two felonies for possessing drugs with the intent to sell. He is also facing misdemeanors for possessing and using drugs.
The duo will both have their preliminary hearings on Feb. 7.
