SUNDAY: AM Snow & Rain Showers, Breezy. Mostly Cloudy. Hi 41. Winds: W 5-15 mph.
SUNDAY PM: Mostly cloudy. Lo 30.
MONDAY: Sun and clouds. Hi 41.
Saturday brought a mixture of snow, sleet, and plain rain to the entire mid-state. Snow accumulations ranged from 2 inches (York/Lancaster) to 4 inches (Cumberland, Dauphin, Lebanon), with a few of the higher elevations picking up over 5 inches. The bulk of the precipitation has quickly moved to the north and east, leaving us with just a few leftover rain and snow showers Sunday morning. No accumulation is expected. The rest of the day will be mostly cloudy and breezy with highs near 40.
The white ground won’t last long as we remain near 40 on Monday before our next system on Tuesday. A good soaking rain is expected Tuesday and Tuesday night. This may start as a wintry mix but ultimately rain will takeover and rainfall totals may exceed an inch. We catch a brief break by late Wednesday and Thursday before yet another system arrives for next weekend.
