When Maria Ramos arrived at RSW, I was so excited about seeing my grandson again. Six year old Casper was traveling all the way from Philly on his own. For the first time ever. I was gonna come bring him, take him to Fifth Avenue. See the tree. But that excitement quickly faded and fear set in and they told me no, he’s not in this flight. He missed his flight. I said no, he could not miss his flight because I have the check in tag. But as the minutes passed still no Casper. So I ran inside the plane to the flight attendant and I asked her, where’s my grandson? He was handed over to you at Philadelphia? She said, no, I had no kids swimming. Maria tells me it’s one of the scariest things she’s ever experienced. My stomach was tight. My heart was pounding and that’s when little Caspar called. He said, mom, where are you? I don’t see you. I got out the plane. I said what you mean? You got out the plane. He said, yes, I’m here. I land, I’m in the airport. I said, give me an adult. He said, I don’t have nobody with me, which leads Maria to believe her grandson traveled across the country alone. I keep thinking about how about if somebody would have stole my grandson? Luckily Caspar was just four hours away in Orlando though. His bag did make it to RSW when I picked him up, he still had it on. She tells me Spirit Airlines to reimburse for the drive. But all she wants is answers. I want them to call me and let me know how my grandson ended up in Orlando. How did that happen? Did they get him out the plane? Did the flight attendant after mom handle him with paperwork? Did she let him go by himself and he jumped in the wrong plane by himself? Amy Gallo. Wink News.
