West Chester East improved to 3-0 in the Ches-Mont League National Division with a 57-53 girls basketball win over Coatesville on Tuesday.
The Vikings (4-2 overall) jumped out to a 23-15 lead after one quarter, led by seven points from Carly Bickle and four from Kayla Cochran.
Bickle paced East with 14 points. Cochran had 11 and Kayla Miller chipped in 10.
Serenity Burgess led the Red Raiders (1-1, 4-4) with 15 points.

Great Valley 43, Academy Park 25 >> Julia Curran poured in 27 points to lead the Patriots (4-4) to the nonleague triumph. Curran was 5-of-8 from the three-point line. Reilly Lackman added eight points and was excellent on the defensive end.
Conestoga 66, Upper Darby 32 >> Ryann Jennings had a game-high 31 points as the Pioneers (6-0) rolled to the Central League victory. Bella Valencia contributed seven points.
Downingtown East 54, WC Henderson 49 >> Kendall Chiavelli had 19 points as the Cougars (1-1, 8-1) staved off the Warriors for the Ches-Mont National win. Charlotte Aldridge and Grace Hodges added 11 points each.

WC Henderson 80, Downingtown East 45 >> Nyle Ralph-Beyer and Nelson Lamizana had 25 points apiece as the Warriors (3-0, 6-1) rolled to the Ches-Mont National win. Holland Neff led the Cougars with 14 points and Kaleem Henderson had 12.
Coatesville 71, WC East 58 >> Lawrence Brown and Dior Kennedy had 19 points apiece as the Red Raiders cruised to the Ches-Mont National win. Ryan Price and Amari Williams had 14 points each for the Vikings.
