The work of mixed media artist Colleen Miller will be featured in “Threads of Nature: Mixed Media Works,” on view at the Lambertville Public Library January 4 through February 15. The exhibit showcases a collection of diverse artworks that explore the intersection of nature and creativity.
Miller works in her studio on North Union Street in Lambertville and resides in Lawrenceville.
“My mixed media art represents a visual language that reflects life, nature, and movement and seeks to bring joy to the viewer,” said Miller. “Like a double-sided coin, I explore realistic painting as well as intuitive painting methods and fabric-paper collages.”
Visitors can expect to encounter a range of artistic techniques, including painting on canvas and wood, as well as collage including vintage items, fabric, threads, and ephemera.
The opening reception on Thursday, January 4 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. will provide an opportunity for attendees to meet the artist and engage in discussions about art.
