Using a fun mixture of only two ingredients, you can make fake dimensional snow! Here, I used it to make mini tree skirts that look like snowdrifts.
- Cut craft paper in the shape of a “C” to wrap around the base of the tree (size will vary depending on the size of the tree base).
- Mix together equal parts (1:1 ratio) of shaving cream and school glue. The mixture will create a dimensional foam-like texture.
- Smear the mixture to cover the paper. You can use your hands or a craft spatula (really anything used to smooth it out). It looks more realistic to leave it uneven.
- Add white glitter to add sparkle. This is what will pick up the light to look like fresh snow.
- While it’s still drying, it can be draped onto the tree base. Secure it around the back with a stapler, paperclip, etc. and leave it to dry fully.
