Warming temperatures for Thursday
PLENTY OF CLOUDS WITH US AS WE BEGIN OUR THURSDAY AND CLOUDS WILL AGAIN BE A STAPLE FOR US, BUT WE’LL START TO BREAK THEM UP AS WE HEAD THROUGH THE AFTERNOON HOURS AS OUR WARMING TREND CONTINUES, AS WE MOVE THROUGH THE DAY TODAY, 34 IS THE TEMPERATURE, THOUGH, OUT THE DOOR? IT’S A CHILLY ONE THIS MORNING, BUT WINDS ARE ALREADY SOUTHWEST. THAT’S KEY THAT STARTS WARMING US AS WE HEAD THROUGH THE DAY TODAY BECAUSE THERE IS A BREEZE. IT DOES FEEL LIKE IT IS 27 DEGREES OFFICIALLY AT THE AIRPORT. BUT WE WILL WARM NICELY TODAY. WE’LL BE IN THE 40S BY LUNCH. WE’LL FINISH IN THE MIDDLE 40S TODAY, WHICH IS ACTUALLY ABOVE WHERE WE SHOULD BE FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR. SO IT IS A CHILLY START THOUGH. NONETHELESS, WE’RE ALL BETWEEN 30 AND 34 DEGREES AS YOU STEP OUTSIDE EARLY THIS MORNING AND YOU FACTOR IN THE WIND, THAT IS OUT THERE AND WE FEEL LIKE WE’RE IN THE 20S FOR THE MOST PART. SO AGAIN, IT IS A CHILLY START, BUT IT WILL BE A BETTER FINISH AS WE HEAD THROUGH THE AFTERNOON. A COUPLE OF FLURRIES, MAINLY NORTH AND EAST OF THE CITY. MOST OF FOREST COUNTY NOW SEEING SOME LIGHT SNOW SHOWERS TO FLURRIES EVERYWHERE ELSE. AGAIN, MAYBE A FLURRY OR TWO. AND THIS ACTIVITY WILL TAPER OFF BY THE TIME WE GET LUNCH. AND AGAIN, REALLY NO ACCUMULATION EXPECTED OUT OF ALL OF THIS. THEN AS WE HEAD THROUGH THE AFTERNOON, SKIES WILL START CLEARING FROM SOUTH TO NORTH ACROSS THE AREA. DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU ARE, IT MAY TAKE UNTIL SUNSET OR AFTER, BEFORE WE ACTUALLY SEE SOME APPRECIABLE CLEARING. SO YOU MAY NOT GET TO SEE SOME SUNSHINE UNTIL TOMORROW. BUT THE GOOD NEWS, WE ALL SEE IT TOMORROW AS WELL, PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES, A COOL BUT MILD START COMPARED TO WHERE WE SHOULD BE. AND A WARMER FINISH. TOMORROW’S HIGHS FOR FINISH IN THE 50S. AND THEN SATURDAY IS EVEN BETTER AS HIGH TEMPERATURES CLIMB INTO THE 60S FOR US AND THEN WE’LL WATCH FOR RAIN CHANCES GETTING HERE VERY LATE SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY MORNING. AND THEN SUNDAY IS PRETTY MUCH A WASHOUT AT THIS POINT. SO 46 YOUR HIGH TEMPERATURE TODAY. WE’LL SEE THOSE FLURRIES THIS MORNING. THEN SOME GRADUAL CLEARING THROUGH THE DAY. MILD AND BREEZY AS WINDS STAY UP. WE COULD SEE GUSTS AS HIGH AS 20MPH. IF YOU ARE HEADING ACROSS SHORE TONIGHT, PRETTY NICE TO DECEMBER NIGHT FOR FOOTBALL, 44 DEGREES AT TAILGATE AT 5:00 WILL BE ABOUT 41 BY KICKOFF WITH AGAIN SOME GRADUAL CLEARING MAY NOT MATTER MUCH FOR SUNSET. BUT AGAIN, IMPROVING CONDITIONS THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT. WE’LL START AT 36 DEGREES TOMORROW, PARTLY CLOUDY AND A MILDER OVERNIGHT FOR US. WE’LL FINISH TO 57 FRIDAY, 60 ON SATURDAY. HOW ABOUT THAT RAIN, THOUGH, GETS HERE ON SUNDAY. IT IS AN IMPACT DAY AS RAIN WILL BE WITH US THROUGH THE DAY. TEMPERATURES WILL FALL THROUGH THE AFTERNOON. MUCH COOLER ON MONDAY. WE’LL SEE THAT RAIN TRANSITION TO FLURRIES AS WE START YOUR MONDAY AND THEN CLOUDS. STAY WITH US AT 35 AND THEN MORE SEASONABLE TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY AND TH
