Police investigate homicide of 85-year-old woman in Lower Pottsgrove

LOWER POTTSGROVE — Township police and Montgomery County Detectives are investigating the homicide of an 85-year-old woman at a residence on North Keim Street.

Police responded to a 911 call for an unresponsive female at 2:26 p.m. in the 1900 block of North Keim Street, according to a press release issued Tuesday evening by Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele and Lower Pottsgrove Township Police Chief Richard Bell.

Police arrived to find Margaret Seltmann already deceased inside the home.

An autopsy by the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 29.

According to the release, “This is a domestic incident, and a suspect is in custody.”
