The Container Store is now open at the Square at West Windsor, further solidifying the tenant mix at this popular Mercer County retail property.
Located at 3516 Brunswick Pike in Princeton, the 220,000-square-foot shopping center is owned by Short Hills-based Garden Commercial.
The new, 15,000-square-foot store marks the Container Store’s 100th retail location nationally and its sixth store in New Jersey.
“The Container Store is a strong, nationally recognized brand and a terrific traffic generator,” Michael Gartenberg, director of Garden Commercial, said. “It is gratifying to celebrate this store’s much-anticipated opening at the Square at West Windsor. The Container Store is a wonderful addition that is sure to be well-received by the community.”
Earlier this year, a 3,000-square-foot Starbucks opened at the Square at West Windsor. The café features a drive-thru lane, conference room and outdoor seating patio. Anchored by Lowe’s and Trader Joe’s, the Square at West Windsor also features Ethan Allen, Mattress Firm, Chipotle and Fidelity Investments, among others.
“The Square at West Windsor’s position as a ‘go-to’ retail destination that attracts best-in-class tenants is well established,” Garden Commercial’s Jonathan Frieder, managing partner said. “This legacy continues in a significant way with the openings of our two newest tenants, The Container Store and Starbucks. These are real wins for this property, its shoppers and area residents alike.”
