The BGill Group, the full-service public affairs, strategic communications and political consulting firm founded by political strategists Brendan Gill and Alixon Collazos-Gill, has had plenty to celebrate lately.
There’s a new office, a new website, new branding and new titles, most notably for Collazos-Gill, who won a seat in the General Assembly last week.
The new offices are located at 35 Park St. in downtown Montclair, in a historic, Victorian home that formerly served as the site of the Teachers’ Club, a nonprofit organization once connected to the Montclair Public Schools.
The new offices feature spaces for meetings and small events, a conference room and workspaces. It also offers the BGill Group’s clients a centralized location in the heart of Montclair’s vibrant downtown.
BGill Group purchased the building in the spring. The location is significant for Brendan Gill, a lifelong Montclair resident whose father taught public school in Montclair for more than 50 years.
“It was very meaningful to acquire and restore this building, given its unique history and how that history aligns with our family’s deep connection to the teaching profession and Montclair’s public schools,” he said.
To complement its new offices, the BGill Group also is unveiling a freshly redesigned website.
More than anything, Gill said it’s the people who make the firm.
“At the BGill Group, we’ve been able to amass a team of veteran political, communications, media and government affairs professionals with unique and complementary expertise,” he said. “This expertise is supported by the ability to leverage a vast network of long-term relationships on behalf of our clients.”
Collazos-Gill agreed.
“We are very proud of and excited about the direction in which the firm has grown and the talent we’ve been able to attract as part of that expansion,” she said.
