BRADLEY BEACH — The Borough of Bradley Beach will hold its annual Veterans Day Ceremony at 11 am. Saturday, Nov. 11, in Riley Park, with former U.S. Army Capt. David Broadbent as the keynote speaker.
Capt. Broadbent was assigned to the 422nd Military Police Company where he served as executive officer from Dec. 2009 to Dec. 2011. From July 2010 to July 2011, his company trained Iraqi police during the transition from Operation Iraqi Freedom to Operation New Dawn. He was later assigned to 1st Army Division East where he served until he completed his military service in July 2016.
