BELMAR— The second annual craft fair at First Presbyterian Church Saturday featured clothing, decor, jewelry and art as well as a baked goods sale in the church kitchen.
“This is our second year doing this festival … vendors loved it last year,” said church member and event organizer Jen Russell. “We have kids’ activities and thirty-plus vendors trying to make sure we provide a unique variety of items.”
Vendors were set up along rows of tables for perusing by potential buyers from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. A “gift auction” was also held for items including paintings and memorabilia ran simultaneously.
Tickets purchased for the auction raised money for church activities.
Some 20 volunteers, all members of the church, worked the fair. This included helping with set-up, packing materials, preparing food, monitoring visitors, running the auction and helping with the kids’ activities.
