Looking wet and cool for the weekend…
EVENING: Mostly clear and comfortable. Temps in the 60s.
TONIGHT: Clear and calm. Low 47.
THURSDAY: Morning sunshine, increasing afternoon clouds, high 68.
This evening will be very pleasant with calming winds and clear skies. This will lead to a great view of the sunset with mainly clear skies overnight.
The system that provided pleasant weather over the last few days will begin to retreat north. This allows a front to extend eastward from the Midwest and allow more clouds into the area for Thursday and Friday. Both days begin with sunshine, with clouds increasing for the afternoon and evening hours. We remain dry to end the week.
The weekend will be damp yet again. A low pressure system tracks through the state on Saturday, producing scattered showers all day Saturday. Most areas will see showers arrive by daybreak Saturday with off-and-on showers for the afternoon and evening. Rain amounts on Saturday will range between 0.5″ to 1.0″. This low will be along the Mid-Atlantic coast for Sunday, keeping the chances for drizzle and showers and increasing northerly winds to 10 to 15mph. Cool and cloudy conditions could continue into early next week.
