The sales event began at 3 a.m. EST on Oct. 10.This isn’t the first time that Amazon holds a Prime Day-like sales event ahead of the holiday season. Just last year, Amazon held Prime Early Access Sale, a two-day Prime Day-like event that spanned from 12 a.m. PST on Oct. 11 through 11:59 PST on Oct. 12.Prime Early Access Sale gave Prime members exclusive early access to holiday deals on items from must-have brands, like Peloton and New Balance, and featured Amazon’s lowest prices of the year on select products from brands like Caudalie, Murad and Philips Sonicare.Prime Early Access Sale also featured Amazon’s first-ever Top 100 list, which was a curated selection of some of the best deals from brands like Hasbro, iRobot, KitchenAid and Samsung.Is Prime Big Deal Days like Prime Day?In essence, yes.
