Guests won’t have to wait until next summer to check out Atlantic City’s newest major hospitality venture.
Nobu Hotel Atlantic City, opening within Caesars, is now accepting reservations for stays beginning on January 2, 2024.
The boutique hotel is set to feature 85 rooms, including suites with ocean views. It is part of Caesars’ $240 million resort renovations project (a new rooftop pool, for example, overlooks America’s first Boardwalk).

The first Nobu Hotel opened in 2013 in Las Vegas. An additional 37 hotels have opened worldwide since, in cities from Miami Beach to Malibu to Marrakech.
“We are delighted to partner with a world-class hospitality brand like Nobu to further elevate the experience at Caesars Atlantic City,” John Koster, regional president for Caesars Entertainment’s Eastern Division, said in a statement.

The hotel joins Caesars’ existing Nobu restaurant, an outpost of the famed Robert De Niro-backed Japanese fine-dining brand of chef Nobu Matsuhisa, which opened in October 2022. When NJM critic Victor Fiorillo visited the restaurant earlier this year, he deemed the experience to be a gamble. The ambience “ranges from bland and claustrophobic to perfectly elegant,” he wrote. The service “ranges from ridiculously bad to top-shelf.” Some of the food was “very good and some nearly exquisite”; other dishes were “forgettable.”
Will the hotel prove a more consistent experience? Only time will tell.
