McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Burger King and other popular fast food chains are offering incredible deals for upcoming National Cheeseburger Day on Sept. 18.
Available next Monday only, customers will be able to purchase 50-cent double cheeseburgers at McDonald’s if they order through the restaurant’s official app.
Wendy’s announced they’ll be selling Junior Bacon Cheeseburgers for just 1 cent from Sept. 18-22, though customers must order another item through the Wendy’s app to take advantage of the deal. (Burger-lovers might consider pairing their purchase with Wendy’s new seasonal Pumpkin Spice Frosty.)
Burger King, meanwhile, is offering members of its Royal Perks program a variety of limited-time deals from Sept. 18-22, including the chance to get a free cheeseburger with a purchase of at least $1.
For people looking for a more typical restaurant experience, Applebee’s has three classic burgers on Sept. 18 going for $8.99 each, an average discount of around $4-$6. Served with a side of fries, the Classic Burger, Classic Cheeseburger and Classic Bacon Cheeseburger will all be available for the exclusive price when you order online, in the app, or dine in.
The burger-filled news is an uplifting change from an announcement that stirred up the fast-food industry earlier this week.
McDonald’s shared that the company is beginning the process of phasing out self-serve soda machines in all of its U.S. establishments, along with removing dine-in areas in some altogether. The plan isn’t expected to be completed until 2032, so customers still have time to enjoy their personalized soda stream mixtures at certain locations.
