Past and present celebrated at 127th Detwiler Family Reunion – Daily Local

Descendants of Henry and Catherine Detwiler, who along with their 12 children began the reunion in 1897, met together recently to celebrate their 127th Reunion at Camp Innabah in Pughtown.

Family members brought for display items including an 1830s woven quilt, the artwork of the late 1880s to crocheted, knitted, and cross-stitched through the present generation. A traditional group photo was taken.

Dick Lusch gave his Historian’s report and an update on the family website, www.detwilerfamily.org. Closing remarks were made by Sandy Detwiler Lusch. Officers were elected for the incoming year.

The 128th reunion will be held on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2024, at Camp Innabah.
