Residents from one of Berks County’s top senior communities, The Heritage of Green Hills, paid tribute to the classic film “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” with their annual Little Black Dress party, celebrating the legacy of Audrey Hepburn in style.
The soiree featured a bevy of lovely senior fashionistas, who donned their most glamorous black dresses and pearls to celebrate womanhood, happiness, and friendship.
Attendees received a silk rose and a cosmopolitan or sparkling cider and were encouraged to try belly dancing.
For the first time, this year’s event was held in two locations at once — just like their neighbors in independent living, the ladies in the new Care Center’s personal care and memory care neighborhoods got glammed up for an afternoon of beauty, fun and reminiscing as they embodied the spirit of Audrey Hepburn’s quotation, “I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls.”
