Ronald A. Lamo Sr., 80, formerly of Manasquan, passed away on August 9th, 2023. Ronald was born June 25, 1943 in Englewood NJ. He enlisted in the Coast Guard in 1960 and served for 4 years. He and his loving wife, JoLynn Lamo moved to Manasquan in 1966. He was the owner and operator of Ron Lamo Heating and Cooling with his son Ronald A. Lamo Jr. for over 40 years. He was a lifetime member of the Manasquan Elks Lodge, a member of the VFW and the American Legion. He loved spending time in the Florida Keys with family and friends. He also enjoyed fishing, playing golf, a glass of bourbon and a good cigar.
He is survived by his wife, JoLynn Lamo, of 56 years, his sister Judy Boden, his sister-in-law Jean Lamo, his sons Ron Lamo and his partner Denise Stapleton, and her sons Devon and Declan, Anthony Lamo and his wife Laura Lamo, his grandchildren Ron Lamo III, Anthony J Lamo Jr., and Patrick Lamo, and many loving family and friends.
A visitation was held on Sunday, August 13th, 2023 at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan, NJ 08736. Entombment took place at St. Catharine’s Cemetery, on Monday August 14th, 2023 at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. https://stjudes.org
