Jordan M. Mrazek, age 52 of Brick passed away suddenly on August 20, 2023. He was born in Manhattan, NY, and lived in Bay Head, NJ, and Massachusetts, before marrying Sue and raising their two girls in Brielle, NJ.
Jordan was known as the greatest father in the world and a prankster and comedian of epic levels. He would be happy to tell you that himself. His gregarious personality brought fun to any occasion. He loved nothing more than being with his daughters.
He was a music lover, a movie connoisseur, a storyteller, a voracious reader, and a lover of life. Jordan lived life to the fullest. He traveled when he could, enjoyed close friends when they came around, and spread light and love wherever he went.
He greeted friends and strangers with open arms and an open heart, and especially loved to support the underdog.
Jordan graduated from Millis High School in Millis, Ma. and attended the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Mass.
Jordan worked as a Director of Information Technology at Eastern Millwork, Inc. for the last 12 years. He was credited with developing many innovative processes and systems. He is predeceased by his father Joseph Mrazek.
Jordan is survived by his mother Penelope Griber, wife Susan Johnson Mrazek, daughters, Tyler Catherine Mrazek and Annika Jane Mrazek; sister Jennifer Montoya, Aunt Alison Freeland and her husband Douglas, nieces and nephews; Tomas, Brandon and Ava Garcia, Sean, Alex and Michael Riordan, Bailey Juska Price, Bruce Juska, Jr., Clyde Morton and Seana Morton Percy; and by his cousins, Michele and Keith Freeland, Rachel McDonald, and Pastor Michael Mrazek, Joseph Mrazek, and Mollie Mrazek.
A memorial gathering will take place on Thursday, August 24, 2023 from 4-7pm at O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Rd., Brick, NJ 08724. A religious service will begin at 6pm at the funeral home. Cremation was private.
